The raw beauty of New Zealand landscapes and seascapes is the inspiration for my paintings. I try to capture the ever changing moods and textures of nature, to make the work feel alive and breathing! I often paint the neglected aspects of a subject, bringing to the viewers attention the beauty in the understated and the overlooked.
