The textures and colours of the understated and the overlooked. Rust, lichen, paint and rope on neglected and disused buildings and fence posts, stormy skies and crashing seas etc in our countryside are the inspiration for my paintings… The transforming into art as nature takes over and repossesses man made objects.

My technique is spontaneous and versatile, my aim being to make the artwork feel alive and breathing!
